Thinking about the past is sometimes the last thing we want to do.  But the past is important because it has taught us something about who we are and why we are here.  The past can only be remembered through our own memories; everyone sees it differently.

No matter how much you look to the future, the past is still there.  And while Nicholas Sparks believes that memories fade with time, I don't believe that we ever truly (fully, 100%) forget.

Maybe I'm naive.
