I have this thing about signs and symbols.  I believe in them like fate or karma or something of the like.  When I come across a symbol and discover it's meaning, it opens my eyes--and some may say that I become obsessed.

Some of my favorite symbols:

Anchors;
hope, dreams, a world of possibilities, and the obvious--the beach and the ocean
"Life's roughest storms prove the strength of our anchors"
"A smooth sea never made a skillful sailor"

Ampersands;
open ended, there is more to be told
"An ampersand reminds us that nothing truly lasts forever but there is always an AND"

Arrows;
a story, a future, and a reason for the rough patches
"An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward.  So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that its going to launch you into something great"


Maybe I just have a thing for letter "A" words... I didn't realize that they all started with A until I was typing this, oops.
